Spa/Clinic Etiquette

The ALLURE SKINCARE clinic is an environment of quiet relaxation. For the comfort of all guests, please turn off cellular phones and pagers and refrain from loud conversation.

Due to the nature of our medical grade lasers, for your peace and the peace of others, and to insure safety, no children are allowed un-attendant under the age of sixteen.

We recommend scheduling your appointment well in advance for the widest selection of treatments, services and appointment times. Appointments are required for all services.

We ask that first time clients/patients arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time to complete necessary questionnaires and paperwork. Existing clients/patients should arrive 5 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time to check in.

It is important for you to make us aware of any health problems, allergies or physical limitations you may have. For your safety, if you are pregnant or believe you may be, please inform us when you schedule your appointment and when you arrive, so necessary precautions could be made.

All prices are subject to change.

Spa/Clinic hours may vary by season.

All treatments will end on time, as scheduled.

No refunds and/or exchanges on services or used products.

Allure Skincare will not treat clients with questionable conditions such as herpes simplex, open wounds or sores, healing incisions, infectious diseases.

We do not massage clients undergoing cancer, diabetic or systemic treatments or any other specific contra-indications to body treatments without the specific written consent of the clients physician.

Allure Skincare will not wax someone on Accutane, -A, or other medications/products that exfoliate or thin the skin.

Allure Skincare will not wax anyone undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments.

Gift Certificates are valid for 1 year from the purchased date.

 

Spa/Clinic Rules

The following terms and conditions shall govern the rights and obligations of the members and clients of Allure Skincare Corp.

Advance Reservations

Peak hours are often late afternoons and weekends (especially Saturdays), so book as far in advance as possible in order to ensure getting the particular time, day and therapist you want.

If you will be attending the spa/clinic with a gift certificate, it is a good idea to mention it so that the front desk can advise you of any policy that may affect it's use.

 

Appointments

First time clients/patients, please arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time to complete necessary questionnaires and paperwork. Existing clients/patients should arrive 5 minutes prior to scheduled appointment time to check in.

Doctors appointments require a $50 deposit which will be applied towards your treatment or procedure. If you fail to make your appointment, your deposit will be held.

All "No Show"  or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice appointments with result in a 25% charge for the missed treatment or procedure. This courtesy enables us to compensate our employees for their time, and maintains a higher availability of our time as well as others. By scheduling an appointment, you are agreeing to our cancellation policy.

Day of Appointment

Being on time for your appointment is greatly appreciated so that you may receive your full service. A late arrival will receive an extension of scheduled service only if time is permitting. Late arrivals may result in shortened treatment. You will be responsible for a full service fee.

Therapist

1. If you have a preference as to which therapist/doctor you wish to be treated by, don't hesitate to let your choice be known.

2. If you have enjoyed the services of a particular therapist/doctor on a prior visit, you may request that person. Do realize that your first choice may not always be available.

Punctuality

1. If you are late, your treatment time may need to be shortened since the treatment room and therapist is generally booked after your session.

2. After treatment, it is customary to vacate the room within five or ten minutes. However, you are free to spend additional time unwinding in the waiting room.

Arrival

If  it is your first visit, let the receptionist know when you arrive. You will be asked to complete a questionnaire on your first visit to provide medical and contact information.

Cancellation

We strictly adhere to the spa/clinic cancellation policy:

If you must reschedule or cancel an appointment, as a courtesy to other members, clients and therapists/doctors, please advise us 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged in full. Any client giving less than the required 24 hour notice will be charged the full fee of service or procedure. Re-booking in place of cancellation fees is not accepted.

Refunds

Please be informed that spa/clinic treatments and used products are non-refundable.

Communicating Preferences

1. All aspects of treatment can usually be modified to your taste: amount of light, kind (or absence) of music, room temperature and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.

2. If any part of your treatment is unsatisfactory, first tell the therapist/doctor. If the response is not helpful, ask to speak to a supervisor.

Gratuities

Gratuities are not included in the price of the service but gladly accepted. It is easiest to leave the tip at the reception desk when you pay for the provided service rather than giving it directly to the therapist.

Appointment Reservations

In order to make an appointment, you must provide a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express, Debit, Care Credit). No charge will be made as long as cancelation or appointment changes are made 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Sorry no checks accepted.

Medical Conditions and Safety

Each client warrants and represents that he/she does not suffer from physical impairment according to his/her physician. Any type of medical condition should be mentioned upon reservation.

Please be advised that some treatments may not be advisable depending on medical condition.

Miscellaneous

Properties lost  and found within the premises of Allure Skincare may be claimed within three months from the date found. Thereafter, no claims shall be entertained and the Allure Skincare management reserves the right to dispose of the lost and found properties in any manner after the lapse of the above period.

The Allure Skincare spa/clinic reserves the right to use anonymous individual photographs of members for press or promotional purposes.

The Allure Skincare spa/clinic is a smoke free zone. Smoking and consumption of alcohol are prohibited in the premises. We recommend that you do not consume alcohol before, during or immediately after your treatment/procedure.
